I agree wholeheartedly Gawain, in my circles the addition of Danny Kruger, Suella and James Orr have given confidence to a number of serious people to get actively involved. Which in turn is having a highly positive effect on their various associations. The talent pool the Party will be able to draw upon just keeps getting deeper and of a higher quality, and the reports given by people who have undergone Reform training sessions are highly positive.
It was also noticeable on the ground at Gorton and Denton just how good the ground game was, decidedly slick and professional but also welcoming and placing in productive roles, the untrained unannounced enthusiasts who wandered in. No resource wasted. Impressive.
This is why I am soooo excited about ReformUK. Once they’re in govt, I can finally sit back and not worry about politics as I know we will be in good hands. It will be the first time for me since 2016…. Bring on a GE…. I can’t wait!
Gawain, all I read in the MSM is of Reform councils' failures, resignations, vetting issues, inability to reduce the increases in council taxes from previous uniparty governorships.
No, but they do not report the successes, that there is a significant lower average in tax rises from Reform councils compared to all other parties, significant costs savings, impressive actions on pot holes and the rest. Good news does t sell papers.
But of course there are teething trouble and we have to be open to scrutiny
